# Campaigns

Sortment enables you to communicate with your users through targeted Email, SMS, and WhatsApp campaigns.

Before creating a campaign in Sortment, make sure the following setup is completed:

* **Connect your data source**: [Integrate with your data warehouse](/setup/data-warehouses.md) to enable segmentation and personalisation.
* **Define your audience and subscription group**: Ensure you have [audience](/engage/audiences.md) list or segment along with the appropriate subscription group to manage opt-in preferences.
* **Configure messaging channels**: Set up and verify your Email, SMS, or WhatsApp [channel integrations](/setup/communication-channels.md) to ensure messages can be sent successfully.

Once these are in place, you can start building campaigns on Sortment.
